During this photo tour, we won’t just take pictures. We’ll explore the layers of Havana’s soul — from bustling neighborhoods like Centro Habana and Habana Vieja, to quiet courtyards and hidden rooftops where daily life plays out in poetic simplicity.
We’ll meet artisans, dancers, and characters whose faces reflect the true spirit of Cuba.

LOGISTICTS ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS
This workshop is also designed to accommodate your personal and economic needs. Once you have decided to sign up for the workshop, our secretary will support you in organizing your trip. Based on your budget, you can sleep in a hotel or in one of the cases particulares that we have had the opportunity to test during previous trips. Based on the departure location, they will suggest the flight with the best quality/price ratio and will also indicate all the bureaucratic obligations necessary for your stay in Cuba. Finally, if you want to stay a few more days, the Photo Project Pro team will be happy to suggest the most suitable itinerary and the most suitable transportation to make the most of your stay on the island, in addition to the workshop period.

PROGRAM OF DAYS
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival in the evening at José Martí International Airport in Havana and transfer to the city. Room assignment, dinner, workshop presentation and overnight stay.
DAY 2: MALECON
After breakfast, stroll along the Malecon to meet the fishermen and photograph the colonial buildings that overlook this world-famous promenade. A multiple setting that gives the photographer a series of iconic subjects that can be captured from numerous angles taking advantage of the most suggestive scenarios. One of all the continuous parade of vintage cars that transport tourists around the city and that make a regular stop here.
DAY 3: OLD HABANA
This is the oldest part of the city, a collection of picturesque squares and streets, in colonial style, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The collective imagination when it thinks of Havana, refers to this part, the most characteristic, the most popular and very lively. Colonial palaces, imposing cathedrals, large squares and narrow streets contribute to creating an atmosphere of times gone by, decadent and nostalgic, at times surreal. The rigorous examples of Spanish architecture alternate with typical venues of all kinds from which, at times, comes the characteristic Cuban music that reaches its peak at La Bodeguita del Medio or El Floridita so dear to Hemingway.
DAY 4: CENTER HABANA
Between Old Havana and the Vedado neighborhood is the crowded popular area of Centro Havana, undoubtedly the most populated. Centro Havana is the best area of the city to savor the true essence of the capital in its purest form. The crowded streets, with buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries are full of life. One of the most evocative places in Centro Havana is the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Calle Reina 465, the Gothic church off the tourist routes. Don't miss Chinatown, the Chinese neighborhood.
DAY 5: VEDADO
Il Vedado è un grandissimo quartiere residenziale. La strada principale è la calle 23 con la zona più turistica denominata "Rampa", il cuore pulsante del Vedado, che si trova al termine della calle e precisamente tra l'Hotel Nacional e l'Hotel Habana Libre.
DAY 6: MIRAMAR
A day dedicated to photographing the Miramar neighborhood and its 50s buildings that are located further west. Along the sea, you pass the Almendares River through the two tunnels and arrive in a large residential area full of prestigious single-family homes, with few tall buildings.
DAY 7: DEPARTURE
After breakfast depending on your flight operations the tutor will take you to the Venice airport.
EDITING SESSION
At the end of each day, for those who are not tired, there is an editing session, analyzing the photos you have taken during the day.
In front of your laptop, start with a careful selection of images. The tutor shows you how to balance light and color, enhancing the natural beauty of each shot. You learn how to adjust contrast, bring out shadows and highlights, and perfect each detail with small touches that transform images.
The session continues with improving reflections, textures and colors to make each photograph shine. As you work, the quiet atmosphere of the room allows you to concentrate while the tutor follows closely behind you, clearly explaining each step.
By the end of the session, not only will you have perfected your shots, but you will have acquired the skills to bring out the true soul of Habana in each image.
